The Turrets Youth Theatre was first established in 1994. There are now seven groups for ages 9-18, who meet regularly after school during term time for regular drama workshops, games and lots of fun.

The groups stage regular productions, with the younger members often devising their own inventive and colourful scripts and the older groups tackling established texts. In addition to regular weekly workshops, play rehearsals and performances, the groups go on theatre trips, residentials and an annual visit to the Big Youth Theatre Festival in London. The Turrets is registered with the National Association of Youth Theatres.
