Founded in 1999, the Friends of the Castle Players are a thriving and growing group. The Friends of The Castle Players is managed by the husband and wife team Malcolm and Chris Bell.

Malcolm Bell said, "Many of our audience are from outside the immediate area. Being a Friend of the Castle Players allows people to become directly involved in the group's activities. Friends are a vital part of the Castle Players."
