Our Town is a Pulitzer Award winning play created by American playwright Thornton Wilder in 1938. Described as "the greatest American play ever written” it is both simple and profound, unsentimental and heart-breaking. 

The story of Grover's Corners, New Hampshire, and its citizens is a time capsule of early 20th Century America. Two neighbouring families are examined in their everyday lives, as we follow George Gibbs and Emily Webb as they grow up and marry.​​
