Director Libby Harding

Libby was brought up in Barnard Castle and has been involved with the Castle Players since she was a teenager, originally getting into acting through The Turrets.
She stage managed Romeo and Juliet in 2013, and directed a successful production of Hedda Gabler through the new directors scheme in 2019.
She has also been involved as an actor in a number of Castle Player's productions including playing Viola in Twelfth Night (2017), Clea in Black Comedy (2017), Marie in The River Line (2024) and most recently, Anne Neville in Dickon (2024).
Libby works for the Civil Service and is just dipping her toe back into directing for the first time since Hedda Gabler.
